The opening credits were rolling as usual on SNL when all of a sudden the announcer goes, "Featuring.. Jason Sudeikis !" thus causing The Apiary to perk up and go "Huh? New guy? Who? Wait! We know him!"

He comes by for the always worthwhile ASSSSCAT shows on Sundays at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. We've also seen him perform at last summer's in a slot titled "Amy Poehler's All Star Nerd Roundup." He's instantly charismatic and could easily be mistaken for a Daily Show correspondent.

But how'd he get on SNL? Research shows that he trained in Second City Chicago, joined the Main Stage of Second City Las Vegas, then auditioned for SNL for the 2003-04 season. They didn't have enough room on the cast AT THE TIME, but liked him so much they offered him a job as a writer.
