Michael Showalter May Have Put a Ring On It

Saw this random bit of news on Michael Showalter's wikipedia page:
According to his Facebook profile, he became engaged to a Ms. Katie Showalter on April 10th, 2010. Her surname is an alias in order to conceal her profile from unwanted visitors, for example, Jeanette Wilson.
Congrats to Sho! Feel bad for poor, unwanted Jeanette Wilson tho, whoever she is.

Hiya, I'm the Katie Showalter his facebook page said he was engaged to. I had put his name in my relationship status on facebook when I'd first made my profile, not realizing that it asks the person for confirmation. About a year later, I began receiving mail from people telling me congratulations, and I was incredibly excited to learn that he'd accepted my accidental facebook proposal. After a little over a week, he took it off, and changed his profile to just being in a relationship. His wikipedia page though, I think, was edited by one of my friends. Jeanette Wilson is one of my best friends, so that statement was just a joke.
But anywho, just thought I'd clear that up and say how totally thrilled I was to find my situation on your blog
