REVIEW WITH WORDS
On the back of the DVD case for season three of Drawn Together, an animated Comedy Central show about cartoons living in a house together "Real World" style, the marketers exclaim that this season features, "MORE animated blood, MORE animated vomit, and MORE animated nipples." That struck me as weird because I understand animated blood and vomit--particularly of the MORE variety--and that it means I will see tons of blood and vomit being spewed everywhere. But what does it mean to have "MORE animated nipples?" How big are these nipples that I need to see them animated MORE than normal? Unless I'm reading that incorrectly and they just mean that there will be MORE npbi (nipples per boob inch). I don't know. I never did open it.

According to Bumpershine, popular nightspot Union Hall is under attack by COMMUNITY MEMBERS. These dicks are attempting to strip the venue of its liquor license and rob the city of its last remaining Eugene Mirman joint. The man's already fled with his comedy from Russia and the East Village, there's nowhere else for him to go! We suspect the N.W.O.-like block of pram pushing Park Slope mommies is behind this somehow. Union Hall made blog news a few months ago when they banned BARGOING BABIES from its premises. These babies have a long memory for those who try to take away their bottles.

A new memo is circulating urging Union Hall patrons to civil action TODAY:

Today could change Brooklyn nightlife as we know it.

Community Board 6's advisory board lead by Lou Sones (the owner of Brazen Head) is taking action against Union Hall of Park Slope. They are recommending the removal of their liquor license based on a group of about 5 people from Union street, with no facts generated to prove any violations. I repeat... THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE AWAY UNION HALL'S LIQUOR LICENSE WITHOUT A SINGLE VIOLATION! If this is allowed it could set a chain-reaction through the night life scene. If they can deny the renewal of a liquor license for an establishment with no violations they will be able to close down anyone they like.

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN!

The General Board will be meeting on this and other matters at the address and time listed bellow. Show up in numbers with signs stating your support for Union Hall and Brooklyn Nightlife. The press will be there and we have to put the pressure on

A REVIEW WITH WORDS
Todd Glass has the best laugh I've ever heard in my life. It's like a mix between Dan Connor (of Roseanne) yelling at his kids and a chimpanzee. His new podcast with Jimmy Dore and Stefane Zamorano is a weekly podcast where they feature his laugh for anywhere from one to two hours. They take turns getting him mad about something and then making him laugh that he got so mad. It's probably the best podcast I've ever downloaded. Never Not Funny finally has some competition in the Funniest Podcast Available Department (which is between Men's Clothing and Housewares).
