The State Reunion @ UCB LA - 3.15.8

Things happen elsewhere! The State reunited last Saturday in Los Angeles and it was a big deal. The whole gang convened for a reportedly epic set of back to back shows which SOLD OUT in less than 5 minutes each. This was the first time the group has performed live on stage together in over 10 years. Kevin Allison had this to tell us about the night.

The State show at UCB West was an absolute, out-of-the-ballpark smash hit. An hour of brand new material, wall-to-wall big laughs. There was just a ton of excitement and the group was really moved by it all. We had forgotten just what a wild ride it can be to work a live audience as one big machine like that.

Weird Al, Sarah Silverman and Matt Walsh were there. Weird Al was raving and saying he hoped this was the beginning of The State doing many more live shows. Sarah was backstage when Matt Walsh asked if she'd like to introduce The State with him. She got up and said, "I wasn't even supposed to be here and I'm soooo stoned!"

This is the second time we've ever sided with Weird Al on something. The first is too painful to talk about. State reunion tour please!
