Neil Hamburger @ Pianos - 8.27.6
NOTES
--For some unknown reason, Pianos set up a handful of chairs in the middle of the space, thereby comfortably accommodating (with leg room) only 1/4 of the people who came to see the SOLD OUT show, forcing everyone else to crowd in a darkened nook in the back like a tin of cramped Vienna wieners.
--Laughs come at the set ups, the asides, the references, the punchlines, the pauses, the coughing, and the heckling--no one kills a room like Neil Hamburger. It's good to hear that he got promoted from America's Funnyman to World's Funnyman.
--Opener Morgan Murphy left a writing gig at Kimmel to take her show on the road.
--SPOTTED a Whitest Kid outside before the show and asked him when the WKUK will premiere on the Fuse network. It's coming in November.
--Neil's alter-ego, Gregg Turkington on Wikipedia
--A Keith Richards puppet snags a fanshot with opener-opener Carla Rhodes and Mr. Hamburger.
--Neil poses for a photo with Liam McEneaney.
--Neil Hamburger on Tom Green Live - 8/16/6 @ 8' 30"

Just wanted to add that Carla Rhodes also performed on that show last night. She was on before Morgan Murphy. Just thought it was strange she was omitted, you're usually very thorough.

Neil's 3rd appearance was funnier than the one you linked (his 4th) on Tom Green Live

Neil was at Piano's?! Fuck! TimeOut NY listed him at Mo Pitkin's. Hello?! I'm about five more fuck-ups away from cancelling my subscription.
