Bob Saget Reborn?

After viewing The Aristocrats, it's hard to walk away from it without thinking that Bob Saget (the falsetto voice on America's Funniest Videos) is on some kind of other level than the rest of the folks in the movie.
Delightful Data: Bob Saget started out in L.A.'s world famous Groundlings improv troupe!
The usually omniscient AST message board even lacks the tools to process this new revelation that Bob Saget might be the most underrated, most misunderstood comedian out there. Could a Bob Saget renaissance be underway?
Frankly, there isn't much information on the net about Saget, except for Bob Saget is God, which while charming in a primordial webpage kind of way, is totally useless. The Apiary did find a list of his upcoming tour dates... which are all in Denver, Homestead, or Ontario.
Someone needs to book this guy in NYC. Saget is also in an ideal spot that seems ripe for an interview in The Onion's AV Club, yeah? Only the future knows for sure whether an awakening in critical popularity is underway.

Also, Bob Saget's cameo on HBO's Entourage was pretty cool.

Not as cool as his cameo on HUFF, as a crack-and-hooker-addicted family television star who holes up in an expensive hotel room with all his drugs, intending to kill himself.
Saget used to be a really dirty stand-up, with lots of one-liners. I think he was on the same now-legendary Rodney Dangerfield's Young Comedians Special as Sam Kinison, Andrew "Dice" Clay, and Bill Hicks. (he was on one of them, anyway, and he was dirty.) Also, the NY Observer did a really good profile on Saget a few months back, when Aristocrats was still touring festivals.
Yes, I said HUFF.

a while back, a buddy of mine saw saget at a comedy club in houston. when saget took the stage, two guys in the front row immediately started heckling him about "full house." obviously no stranger to heckling, saget shredded the two guys to pieces, and soon had the entire house on his side. my buddy said saget tore into the hecklers with a "sadistic vengeance," such that they had to get up and leave the show. hail saget.

He was on Conan last night! He was okay. Seemed a little unsure of his newfound powers.
