Who is Fantasy Grandma?

I had the opportunity a couple weeks ago to sit in on an audition for an upcoming comedy festival and one of the performing groups has haunted the recesses of my mind ever since. Its name is .
Myrtle J. and Jane B. lumbered into the performance space, one of them lugging a large keyboard in one of those pushcarts popularized by old Chinese ladies at the laundromat. They came dressed in tastefully sporty Sophia Petrillo-esque outerwear and they handed out hard candies and pocket-sized packages of Kleenex. Then they started rapping. I honestly couldn't tell if they were men or women or how old they actually were -- but I was totally hooked.
Who are these people? Where did they come from? They stayed in the space's bar after the audition and drank white wine spritzers, never breaking character. You could tell they've been wandering around Manhattan all day like this, and I wanted to trail them -- maybe carry their groceries or help them cross dangerous intersections -- just to see what the rest of their day would be like.
Here's the best quality video of Fantasy Grandma I could find. Hopefully they have more in the works.
