KHEIFETS SPOTLIGHTS WICCAN VOTE IN WSJ

Just in time for Halloween, Apiary pal Aaron Kheifets has published an opinion in today's Wall Street Journal ("Toil and Trouble in Deleware")*. The local comic, comedy writer and host of A-Side/B-Side, advises Delaware GOP Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell to embrace recent discoveries that she once dabbled in teenage witchcraft. Aaron writes:

One thing is certain: America's booming Wiccan population will find its voice in government. Ms. O'Donnell's candidacy provides an opportunity for the GOP to get in on the ground floor of a serious grass-roots movement, rather than face hordes of Democrats with walking sticks and rat tails down the road.

I'd write something snarky about all of this, but Aaron seems to know his Wiccan facts. And I know better than to goof on a warlock. Especially one whose opinion is favored by the Journal.

  • THE PLUG: Don't miss Aaron with "The Raspberry Brothers," as they make fun of Twilight, every Tuesday in October at the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg
