2008 ECNY Award Nominees Announced | Voting is Now Open

We're excited to say that the production team behind the ECNY Awards had a late-breaking announcement yesterday:
The ECNY Awards, New York's original comedy awards are honored to announce the nominees for the 2008 awards, representing the absolute best in New York comedy. Voting will be open to the general public at ecnyawards.com. Winners will be announced at the 2008 ECNY Awards ceremony, held March 9, 2009, at 8:00pm; at Comix NY; 353 West 14th St. The ceremony will be hosted for the second year in a row by Jon Friedman.
Congrats to all the nominees. Online voting is open now through Wednesday, March, 4th. As stated at the site, "Voters and Industry Committee members will be encouraged to see the various shows and performances of the ECNY Nominees in order to vote with knowledge and confidence. ECNY Award Winners will be determined by a combination of online votes and Industry Committee votes."
