A year later, Dave would spam his Comedy Central show list: "So we're at lunch and somebody mentions Rick James, to which Charlie [Murphy] responds, 'You know, I had to fight Rick over 10 different times.' Needless to say, we dropped our forks and immediately started prepping the sketch. ... One of most rewarding parts of making the sketch was showing the finished product to Charlie and Eddie a few weeks ago. We're pretty sure we saw Eddie wipe a tear away he was laughing so hard.
