There's Something Going Around

--The Apiary went to Michelle Collins' WICKEDLY FUNNY weekly show at Rififi this past Tuesday. Michelle was naturally amped after just seeing Across the Universe and she asked the audience to suggest Beatles songs so she could demonstrate how JULIE TAYMOR'S DYNAMIC VISION stayed true to the lyrics. Anyways, we glanced over at one of the people shouting song titles and to our surprise, it was HOLLYWOOD STARLET Julia Stiles, from Save the Last Dance! Turns out Michelle and Julia are old pals. That made us wonder, could Julia be the Hollywood insider feeding Michelle all her tasty BWE Blind Items about hermies, herpes, & poopies?
--Gabe Liedman and Jenny Slate have a killer impression of The Hills in their repetoire. Demand that they do it for you the next time you see them on the street.
--Jimmy Kimmel has joined forces with tasty beverage producer Sierra Mist to roam the country in search of the funniest college kid in America. Winners will receive all kinds of stuff. See here for details. If there's something funny about living in New Jersey, TONIGHT'S tour stop at Rutgers should bring it all to light.
--We've known for a while that Conan was moving operations to the West Coast... but seeing it all spelled out in an ugly NBC Universal media alert made us wince. Late Night's departure will be a massive hit to the NYC community.
--Heather Fink is looking for a roommate to share her life and exceptional LES apartment with for a mere ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS per month. RU the 1? Contact her. A brief caveat: she can be "messy."
--Liam McEneaney is mentally preparing for a lengthy European tour. Sadly, with the US Dollar tumbling overseas, Liam will be forced to walk around wearing not one, but two fannypacks stuffed with Washingtons.
--DID YOU KNOW: Derrick is the Most Subscribed to Sketch Group of All Time on YouTube!
--Baron Vaughn and Elon James White have launched The Black Comedy Project. Shockingly, it's not a collection of dissertations on Harold & Maude. From the site:

"There's a difference between what people think "Black Comedy" is and what it actually happens to be. NYC Based comedians Baron Vaughn and Elon James White have reached out to comedians across the nation to finally let the world know that there's very different voices within the community. Let us bring them to you."

For the "official commenter's record", she is not my source. But if I were to tell you there was a "loose-lipped" gyno hanging around Manhattan, well, that would be saying too much.

And thanks for coming to the show Nate! You are a vision.

Go Liam! You're gonna kill more Europeans than the Black Death!

Also, don't despair when Conan leaves for LaLa. We'll have Jimmy Fallon taking over and keeping us company into the wee hours and we're super jazzed about that! Right, guys? Uh...guys?
