What Happened to 23/6?

Has 23/6.com turned into THE DUKE NUKEM FOREVER OF INTERNET DESTINATIONS? We seem to recall reading an article in Time Out New York published way back in March which said:

"Like its sister The Huffington Post, Diller's new comedy site will have celebrities (or at least celebrated comedians) dong the blogging. In addition to providing comedic takes on breaking events, 236 plans to offer original comedy programming from staff and freelancers, as well as users' blogs and videos."

A website soon emerged called www.huffingtonpost.com/236-com which bared content and this statement:

"236.com is a co-production between the gigantic, vaguely Death Star-like 'new media holdings company' IAC/InterActiveCorp, and The Huffington Post, a progressive news hub where outraged people go in order to get more outraged before going to have dinner at Balthazar."

What follows this panic-inducing intro is A TRICKLE OF BLOG ENTRIES--an erratic, light flow that would dry up like a maxi in the sun on August 29, 2007. Surely this couldn't be the mighty website which would combine the wealth of IAC with the presence of the HuffPo.

A source assures us that a proper site with bells and joy-whistles remains under development and on the way. But this is all starting to remind us of that feeling we had in 1997, when we waited outside a Fretter for a copy of Windows 2000.
