The Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner DVD
Relive the excitement of Mr. Sulu getting gaybashed, Princess Leia receiving a dubious face licking, and a potty mouthed Rose Nylund revisiting her sexual romps with Captain K. No word yet on whether the DVD contains behind the scenes footage of News Radio's Matthew Brock taking a bite out of a Post reporter.
A Pair of Tickets to "A First Look at Little Mosque on the Prairie" at the Museum of Television & Radio
The Museum of Television and Radio hosts an interesting panel this Thursday at 6PM featuring the cast and crew of the Canadian program Little Mosque on the Prairie. From the MTR site: "This hit Canadian sitcom from the CBC, centered on a Muslim community nestled in the wilds of rural Saskatchewan, has debuted to strong ratings and curious speculation: is it possible to find humor in Muslims interacting with suspicious North Americans in a post-9/11 world? Members of the cast and creative team will discuss the challenges that arise when sensitive social and political issues provide the context for a traditional comedy show."
Flight of the Conchords Prize Pack
To promote the new Flight of the Conchords show on HBO, we're handing out a prize pack containing: a DVD sampler, a poster, a T-shirt, a postcard, and something we haven't seen yet that's being described to us as "a robot stress reliever." We're guessing it's either a vibrator or a vibrator for robots. Super Deluxe sent over a bunch of t-shirts with various designs and colors. We'll give out a couple this time and a couple some other day. All of the shirts are size XL or higher so keep that in mind when entering.
