Rejection Show Book Seeks Rejects
Jon Friedman has just relaunched the Rejection Show website with a new addition that's worth mentioning. There's a Submit Your Rejection page that says:
It's your turn to contribute to Rejected, the first official book of The Rejection Show! We're seeking rejected material and/or stories of failure and rejection for the book.
We had some questions and thankfully there was a FAQ's tab to click on. We zeroed in on the most important AQ's:
Q: When does this book come out?
A: Winter 2008.Q: Will I be paid if my submission is published?
A. Yes.
Better hurry though, Mr. Friedman informed us: "Time is running out! On a very basic level, I'd love for stand up comedians to send me their rejected standup jokes and sketch groups to send me their rejected sketches (good or bad stuff)... the rest of the possible types of more fleshed-out, detailed submissions are explained on the site."
