Stuff Being Said
--The dates are set on the MTV vs. FUSE sketch comedy ratings rumble. Whitest Kids jump out of the gate first on March 20th @ 11PM and Human Giant premieres on April 5th @ 10:30.
--We hear that a slew of ny comics are securing auditions RIGHT NOW for the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. In related fest news, Dead Frog announced he's skipping Aspen this year and will go to Montreal instead, citing that Aspen's just too expensive.
--Sketch troupe FreeLoveForum just got themselves management with Relevant Entertainment. They are splitting a show with Drop Six this Saturday at the PIT at 9:30.
--The Hollywood Reporter actually paid someone to produce this gripping expose: Comedians Use Net to Launch Careers.
--Are you or someone you know really into sports? Someone had emailed looking for "up and coming comics who have a sports background or are knowledgeable in sports."
--Phase II at Rififi is almost complete. Gabe & Jenny work out in the new digs this Monday.
