Conan O'Brien Coming to the Museum of Television & Radio
Get your wacky questions ready, people who ask wacky questions at panel discussions! The NY Museum of Television & Radio is getting ready to host the greatest panel ever assembled: Conan O'Brien and his entire senior writing staff.
Simply Absurd: The Comedy of Late Night with Conan O'Brien - April 5th @ 7:30Comedy connoisseurs know that Late Night with Conan O'Brien is more than just another celebrity chat show; it's also home to some of the most inventive, provocative, and delightfully silly humor on television, including "If They Mated," "Celebrity Secrets," and, of course, "Triumph the Insult Comic Dog." Conan O'Brien and his crack(ed) team of writers will discuss their unique brand of lunacy, and may touch on the process of bringing such outre concepts to the screen; problems with the censors; the difficulty of generating fresh material for a nightly show... or they may not. It's an unscripted event.
In Person:
Conan O'Brien, Host
Mike Sweeney, Head Writer
Michael Gordon, Writer
Brian McCann, Writer
Brian Stack, Writer
Sample questions to ask:
--How you get that bear to masturbate?
--What's Max Weinberg like off camera?
--I've written a full length movie script for the Slipnutz. I think we could get Nicolas Cage. Would you mind taking a look at it?

This seems like a really cool event..I wish I could attend and ask them to look at my script..lol. Too bad it's in NYC. I'm at work wasting time watching hilarious videos of Triumph the insult comic dog and a spoof of Dora the Explorer on www.dotcomedy.com. (I work with nbc so i'm allowed to.) Well if you love Conan, you should check out that site, too.
