--NBC was recently seen scouring Craigslist in search of a web editor to run the official SNL site. Wouldn't it be cool if these corporate sites were more than just lame Google-search PR placeholders... and actual interactive arms of the shows? Perhaps that is what's in store for the SNL site because we're being told--by an AUTOMATED 'YOU DIDN'T GET THE JOB' GENERATOR--that the position has been filled.

--Julie Klausner is plotting and preparing for some kind of waaay-over-the-top thing for the Loser's Lounge Elton John tribute this weekend. Should be classic.

--CLOSING: The Primetime Kalan: Metro columnist/Daily Show staffer, Elliott Kalan and former Juvie Hall owner-operator, Erik Marcisak, bid adieu to the quirky show they have been producing for the past 2 years. The Primetime Kalan was never in short supply of guest superstars from TDS--last year, Stephen Colbert even dropped in for a 1 on 1.
