Buzz Points and RFIs
--The Aspen invites are circulating. The Bastion is the first to report on Chicago sketch duo, KevINda, who are confirmed to be heading to the big show. If you or someone you know has been invited to the '07 USCAF, send in the info.
--Additionally, The Bastion has been picking up the slack the past two weeks while The Apiary has been off munching Christmas cookies--Inside with: Zach Galifianakis!
--Have the television premiere dates been set yet for Human Giant and The Whitest Kids U Know? The Human Giant website is now under construction, which suggests that MTV is busy shining it up AS WE TYPE.
--Has anyone had a chance to watch the SNL: Season 1 boxed compilation? Is it worth buying? And does anyone know whether Broadway Video intends to produce every season?
--The San Francisco SketchFest recently announced their killer schedule. The opening night celebration (1/11/07) promises a Stella reunion. Is this the first time Wain, Showalter, and Black have appeared on a bill as Stella since the end of the tv show?
--SFO wonderdudes, Kasper Hauser, have prepared a video titled "Camel Toe Getting You Down? SkyMaul Has the Answer." --via AST
--And finally... In a move that will hopefully fare better than when Marvel Comics created the abysmal West Coast Avengers... an LA version of this site is launching soon!

I got the SNL season one dvd set, it's amazing.
Seeing the show in it's infancy is fascinating, the format is all over the place. It's littered with hilarious gems: Belushi's Joe Cocker, Richard Pryor hosting, O'Donoghue's impressions, Dueling Brandos, the Muppets drinking & fornicating, Andy Kaufman, and, maybe most incredible, seeing how funny Dan Akroyd used to be. Plus the music is top notch, everyone should buy this thing.
If they don't release more seasons they're nuts.

An LA version!?! Eggsellent. It's tough to be a loyal Angleno reader who can't go to any of the wondershows you rave about. Maybe...2007...is gonna be...the best ever!?!
