Inside With: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Puppet

While trolling the red carpet at the grand opening of COMIX, The Apiary stood agape before Robert Smigel, one of the more friendly and accessible comedians present, who said the following (as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog). For best results, have Triumph's voice in your head as you read this.
So what do you think of an alternative comedy club?

A comedy club in the Meatpacking District? I don't know. You know ...I feel very comfortable performing here in the Meatpacking District. For once I'm not the only person who's had a hand up his ass hundreds of times.

So, how many posts about Comix can The Apiary post? Has all other comedy in NYC stopped to kneel before the opening of a club?
What about other news in comedy? Such as Air American potentially filing for bankruptcy, gigs at Mo' Pitkins and UCB and tons of other things?

That's awesome Api. I was thinking of going to the opening becuase I'm currently trying to get an interview w/RS (without luck) for a piece I'm doing... but was I busy and besides, didn't want to seem stalker-esque.
