AOL Declares Funniest Comedy Blogs of Right Now; WSJ Says Comedians Are Finding Fame On the Internet

Adam Wade is currently holding tight to the #4 spot on AOL's Funny Comedy Blogs list. Chelsea Peretti, Christian Finnegan, Eugene Mirman, and Matt Goldich also made the cut. See who else makes up the elite eleven.

In other, more startling news, The Wall Street Journal points out today that people should start paying attention to the internet. Apparently comedians are using the world wide web to get their names out there and get noticed.

To which Anthony King gently puts it all in perspective:

"There are a lot of untalented comics on the Web who aren't going anywhere."

These are the funniest blogs in . . . the world? . . . the U.S.? . . . New York?

OK. Maybe New York.

Gee. What do you think the odds are that all the funniest blogs come from a handful of people who know each other in New York?

Doesn't look like the listmaker did too much research is all I'm sayin'.
