What's the Secret to Scoring Guru Pitka Tickets?
For several occasions in a row now, The Apiary and several readers who wrote in to complain, have been completely shut out from getting tickets to Mike Myers' Padsana on Human Potentiality and Equipoise by His Holiness the Guru Pitka show at the Magnet Theater.
Do you have to know a guy? Are a large number of seats pre-allotted for Magnet students? Tickets for this Friday's show reportedly went on sale at noon today. And after another week of panicked speed dialing and busy signals, we finally got through and were told reservations were full.

Go and wait in the standby line. If you get in line around 5:30, you should make it in. There are no bad seats at the Magnet.

yeah. agreed. I waited in standby the first time "Guru Pitka" came around (got to the theater about an hour before the show was slated to start) and got in.
Magnet wants you there.
Magnet loves everyone.

Went on the second night, stood in the standby line for two hours, they admitted everyone up to us. We were the first people turned away.

But Matt, Mike came out to say sorry to you guys. So... at least you got that for your two hour wait...
