Final Days to Request Tickets to SNL Lottery
You have til the end of August to enter the Saturday Night Live ticket lottery for the 2005-06 season. --via Keith
Winners will receive two tickets to a pre-assigned show date and performance (dress rehearsal or live show).
By "tickets", they mean "seats." SNL does not distribute hard tickets for you to sling on Craigslist.

The joke was W.C. Fields' and it was about Philadelphia. I only know because I grew up there and share his sentiments.
